The Sindh Minister for Information, Ms. Shazia Marri here Sunday visited Media Pakistan Exhibition. The Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Ms. Sherry Rehman, had performed the inauguration of the event at the Expo Centre here on Friday.Shazia Marri visited the stalls where exhibits pertaining to broadcast, digital and satellite media technology were put on display.    Expressing her views on the occasion, she said that the government believes in the freedom of the press.

She said that assistance would also be extended for the provision of modern technology.
Shazia Marri was of the view that the display of products from the reputed electronic companies would immensely benefit the media here.
She said that the government was also working for streamlining the Department of Information, Government of Sindh, on modern lines.    The Minister lauded the efforts of the Dawn Group of Newspapers for arranging the exhibition.
