Well… Why iam writing this comparassion? because many users are inspired with iPhone 3G however I hope this review will help you select better device.
1. Phone Size :
Nokia 5800 : 111 x 51 x 15 mm
iPhone : 115.5 x 62.1 x 12.3 mm
Here Nokia 5800 beats iPhone because iPhone is too wide and its not handy, however Nokia 5800 is handy and smaller in size.

Final Wordings:
Nokia 5800 is more user friendly for those who have already use Nokia Phones, Nokia 5800 is symbian powered device which means it allows you wide range of customizations. But if you compare it with other Symbian powered device you will see there is one big feature missing.
in older symbian phones a pencil button were available for multiple selections, in newer symbian phone that pencil button was replaced by “#” button , when you continiously press # button it will work same as previous pencil button, However Nokia 5800 misses this feature.
However dont worry you can get this feature by installing pencil application which allows you to use Red button for multi purpose.
As far as selection between iPhone and Nokia 5800, both have there own fans, However i prefer Nokia 5800 because of its features, user friendlyness and in Pakistan because of its warrenty acceptance and resell value Nokia 5800 surely wins the game.

I think Saving Email Attachments is a good option in nokia 5800, warranty is another plus point point for nokia 5800…and also price difference makes a huge difference among them…
Iphone 3G have the best features among all the phones that i have owned. the iPhone is also very classy and stylish.
Hi i was going to buy I phone 3G but every one was against it now i have read this review and i have changed my mind and i am going to buy Nokia 5800 thanks man
I have used both devices because my one room mate has nokia 5800 and other has iphone 3G 8GB. the touch interface of iphone is excellent (extremely sensitive) making you crazy
with multitouch while that of nokia is very poor (unacceptably so as you will have to press hard on its plastic surface to give it input) and no multitouch. iPhone responds quickly while 5800 is slow to open applications. regarding operating system, nokia is far more open and friendly than iPhone but playing games and other apps are much much more fun on iPhones excellant super sensitive touch and gravity sensing sensing interface. For games, iPhone is best. For IM (eg skype) and accessories, nokia is better.
