Fire fighters have controlled the fire in the basement of second-hand computers market in Saddar area Saturday, after a hectic effort of more than three hours fire brigade sources
said.
An official said that fire fighters have faced extreme difficulty in extinguishing the fire and rescue stuck up people in basement car parking turned godown.
He pointed out that the owner has converted the parking area located in the basement into a godown. This area has no window or any other entry or exit point except one.
Fire fighters used gas mask and oxygen cylinders to enter to the basement, he said.
