All Pakistan Computer Project Exhibition & Competition (COMPPEC) an event held every year. College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering has the honour for hosting this event from the last seven years.
This year the competition is being conducted from April 25-27. In order to generate maximum participation 220 Colleges, Institutes and Universities from all over the Pakistan were formally invited.
The exhibition and competition is organized in four different categories.
To maintain the standard, projects in each category are selected after technical evaluation by highly qualified faculty members of Computer Engineering Department. After committee overview 74 projects from different leading universities were selected. Cash prizes are set to encourage and appreciate students.
The competition started with a graceful opening ceremony. Professor Dr Noor Muhammad Butt Chairman Pakistan Foundation graced the occasion as the chief guest.
In his inaugural address he appreciated the efforts of participants in accepting the upcoming challenges and needs of computer, information and Nano technology. He visited the exhibition centre and valued the efforts of the participants and their projects in technological growth of Pakistan.
At this occasion Dean Academics Studies Group Brigadier Doctor Abdul Ghafoor welcomed the Chief Guest and Participants. The efforts of Computer Engineering Department were appreciated and acknowledged by all.
The exhibition will be open for all the visitors till 2100 hrs, during the exhibition each project will be evaluated by three judges.
