The City Government opened for vehicular traffic the second track of Sohrab Goth Flyover on Friday while the loops of Hasan Sqaure Flyover had already been opened for traffic on Thursday
night to facilitate the people, on the special directives of City Nazim, Syed Mustafa Kamal . The City Nazim while visiting different areas of the city on Friday said the City Government is taking every possible measure to provide facilities to the citizens.
With the introduction of culture to work on 24 hour basis, record number of development projects have been completed for the first time in the history of Karachi.
City Nazim was, on the occasion, informed that staff of the Works and Services, Municipal Services and Transport departments along with community police and Water Board workers have worked day and night to carry out repair and patch work of various roads.
The roads and tracks where these works have been done include Dr. Ziauddin Road, Shahrah- e- Liaquat, M.A Jinnah Road near Memon Masjid, Altaf Hussain Barelvi Road, Daudpota Road, Korangi Road, FTC to Kala-Pul, Sindhi Muslim Society, portion from Shahrah-e- Falak to Tariq Road, service road of Shahrah- e- Pakistan, adjoining streets of Sohrab Goth Flyover, 12000 Road Korangi, ICI Bridge to Jamat Khana Road, Nagan Chowrangi, Pehalwan Goth to Shamama Apartment Gulistan-e- Jauhar, road from Ayesha Manzil to Yasinabad, 4000 Road North Karachi, Gulshan-e-Maymar to Surjani, Saddar Road, Adam Road, Old Race Course Ground, diversions constructed after collapse of Northern Bypass Bridge, both loops of Hasan Square Flyover and connecting roads, U- turn at University Road, Shaheen Complex Chowrangi, Gulberg to Water Pump Road.
